
These paths are created and contributed by other players. Where possible, the author(s) have tried to give an idea of levels that can use that script. This does not mean all characters can do it at that level, but is an average. Many can do the areas sooner, some later. It is only meant as a guideline. Potential hazards are also given.
To add a new path, download the one you want to a temporary directory. Then, enter MegaMud. Next go to the Options menu, and select Game Data. Inside the Game Data window, click on the Paths tab. Now click the 'New' button the right side of the path list, and select the path you just downloaded. If you downloaded a new format path, MegaMud will automatically add the start and finish rooms if you don't already have them. If you downloaded an old style path, you will have to add them yourself. To do this, click the Rooms tab, and click New, and define the necessary information (the 4 letter code you need to use for each room can be found by looking at the first four letters of the path file name for the starting room, and the last four for the ending room (or if the last four are 'loop', the path file is a loop).

Bandit Keep #2 5 10-20 Phan It starts in the room after you climb tree and goeas around the top, then in goes down into and around the outer keep, then goes through the inner keep lower level. Might want to have two 12-15 chars until they can handle the 6 monster regen rooms at like level 18 or so. Bandit Keep #3 5 10-20 Sunshine Starts at the Hidden Entrance, hits most rooms, and does not visit Leo the Quick. Bandit Keep #4 5 10-20 Soul About 60 rooms long, it hits almost every room on the Hidden Entrance level, except for ones that require special commands. About 11k/hour at Level 13. Black Fortress Loop - 20-30 Webbly Buys and sells Kher grasses and avoids the bosses. Starts in the Dreary Village Shop. Black Mountains 1 20-30 Spawn Starts at Commander Markus. Does the Displacer Beast Lair. Bronzewood-Ironwood-Dying Grove 2 35 Pagan (poison) - Starts at the Fruit Plant, and includes the Dying Grove and Filthy Encampment. Complete Dark Caverns - 15 Pagan Worms, Hellhounds, Tentacles - Level 15ish (poison, dark) - Starts at the Ledge Cracked Plains - 25-30 Pagan Starts at the Glowing Opening Crypt Level 1 - 5-10 Pagan Starts at the Down inside Crypt Level 1 Crypt Level 2 & 3 - 5-10 Redfive Includes the mummy (dark). Dark Elf City #1 3 25-35 Spawn Easy Loop Dark Elf City #2 3 25-35 Spawn Harder Path than #1 Darkwood Forest #1 - 10+ Pip Starts and ends at Jorah. Does Spiders and Dark Druid room. Cure Poison is essential. Darkwood Forest #2 2 8-15 Pagan Starts at the Silvermere Gates, and does not do the Spiders or Dark Druid room. An easier path than above. Desert Pack 6 40+ Wile A Zipped file from containing 27 paths and loops for the Scorching Desert area. Dragons Loop - 35+ Sunshine This is a good dragons loop. Starts at the lava tube, and hits all the squares except the she-dragon. Duergar Area Loop 4 40 Webbly Should be evil. Start just south of the room where you show your signet ring. Cure poison a plus. Duergar Loop 4 40 Wile Starts in the Lord's room. Need to be able to cure poison. Duergar Loop #2 4 40 Sor Starts SE of the trap which it avoids), and only goes 1 W of the Lord, not in his room. Dusty Village Pack 6 40+ Sly-Bri A Zipped file containing a number of useful paths to and from the Dusty Village Dwarven/Gnome Village Loop 3 30-40 Webbly Starts at the Gnome Village Entrance. Evil only, and you have to have area spells. Cast Area Spell then kill goods. Filthy Encampment 2 25+ Pagan The Filthy Encampment only. Starts at the entrance. Regen can be low in this area. Filthy Passages #1 2 15-20 Pagan Battles the Death Dogs - a great hideout path! Filthy Passages #2 2 15-20 Pagan A bit harder than #1 - Does some of the Labyrinth, too. Gnoll Camp Loop #1 1 15-25 Pagan Easier loop - no chieftain. Starts at the Guard Post. Gnoll Camp Loop #2 1 15-25 Sor Starts just past the trap and includes the chieftain. Gold Mines 4 30+ Spawn Huge Cave Loop - 25-35 Webbly Goblin Cave Area. Left out the werewolf and Guardian. Starts one room west of the cave opening. 50/60k per hour with higher character levels. Kobold Area Loop 4 25-35 Webbly Good for lower levels. Starts in the King Room :) :) Pick up your crown :) Lava Fields Loop - 25-35 Spawn Includes the lava pools. Lava Tube Loop - 30-40 Webbly Salamander area. Starts at the down from the lava fields. Very good experience (125k +) Mad Wizard Loop 5 10-20 Garet A slimy sewers area loop. Starts in the Mad Wizard's room. Manscorpions 6 45+ Spawn Begins at the Limestone Caverns, Manscorpion Fork. Best in a party due to regen. Easy loop - no manscorpion shamans. Marble Passages 4 15-25 - North of the Graveyard. Starts at the stairwell. Misty Bog Loop 4 25-35 Wile Starts at the Crossroads near the Inn. You do need swampboots. Tricky regen. Mithril Mines Loop 4 35+ Wile Starts in the Mithril Mines Level 6 Room. Obsidian Passage 1 35+ Starman This loop avoids the she-dragon room and does hit all the rooms in the area. Be sure to start at the Lava Tubes. Orc Mansion 1 10-20 Pagan Watch the regen here. Does not do the Warleader. Quaggoth Loop 4 30-40 Sor Starts at the bottom of the stair, and requires no light. It hits every room of the city except the golem's. Red Tunnel Loop 4 30-40 Webbly The one above the royal soldiers. Start it in the first room of the red tunnels after the ups. (W) Roc Hatchlings - 10-20 Pagan Does the roc hatchlings, and goes over to the mountain stair. You may see an occasional adult roc or nomadic tribesman. Big Roc Pack - 10-20 Pagan Does the roc hatchlings, then travels over and does the adult roc area above the torchlits. Salamander Loop 4 30-40 Webbly Starts below the magma regen pool in the lavas and goes to 1 SW of the Efreeti and returns. You will need to define one room. Saracen Fortress #1 6 45+ Spawn Raiders only. Starts in the Plaster Hallway of the Saracen Fortress. Read the .inf file that comes with this! Saracen Fortress #2 6 45+ Spawn Includes zealots. It cures disease. Starts right after you lift gate, and avoids crafters.
