Something has awoken in the pyramid... by its power, I am sure all our fears are justified. It can only be the pharaoh awakening after all these long centuries. Whatever has kept him in stasis all this time has finally vanished, and now that he is risen once more, he must surely be massing his strength."

If you choose to investigate further, you must be prepared, both in mind and body. If you are not strong enough, you will surely fail. On the other hand, if you charge blindly ahead, your fate will be eternal darkness. Do not undertake this perilous journey unless you are courageous.. though we would be greatly thankful if you would accept."

Seher'Sahham says, "Hello there adventurer, you seem to be quite a ways from your home. I imagine you are here to use my water portal. It is quite the marvel of magic isn't it. The mages of Cirgathil told you of it didn't they? Such a jealous bunch they are always in competition with each other as to who's magic is more powerful, having summoning contests that last for days. Skali does not look up from the forge he is slaving over. He mutters, "If ye have business here, quickly state it, I do not have time for idle chitchat. The grizzled dark-elf grins slyly at you, an uncanny glint of intelligence in his eye betraying his "old-man" routine. With a healthy, powerful voice he says, "What a remarkable interlude in my over-dull morning. It has been quite some time since I have seen outlanders in the City... at least, ones not bound and gagged on their way to torture or worse."

He smirks, and looks you up and down in an appraising manner.

"In fact," he continues, "since you have come this far, you must be at least marginally skilled. Or exceptionally lucky, but luck can only bring you so far... either way, you may be of some use to me. If you would be so incluned. It is possible that our interests may co-incide? Obviously, you are heare to put an end to our damnably glorious Queen. Or at the very least, to ruin her ineffective plotting."

He spits on the ground in disgust.

"Indeed, I have no love for, or loyalty to the Queen. If your plans include her or any thwarting of her plan, I may be able to help you."

The spectral knight intones mournfully, "All who enter this crypt must perish. So be it decreed by the unholy enchantments here, and so must I abide by them even as my spirit yearns for its eternal rest. To my chagrin, you may only exit after I am defeated, and that likely means your demise. Prepare yourself."

Sylk glances you over, the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end and chills runs down your spine ending in an uncolntrolable shiver.

"Count yourself lucky, few people make it this far into the jungle alive. Even though I could hear your footsteps tromping through the jungle since you first came, the mamba has drawn her sights to you and I'm not the kind of assassin that will take anothers kill."
