| Tasloi Animal Master | This fierce looking tasloi is not only a little larger than most of the others of his kind, but seems to have a slightly more sinister look to him. His task, as defined by his attire, seems to be training the wild creatures of the area. |
|---|---|
| Tasloi Chief | This regal looking tasloi towers before you. He looks to be a larger version of the normal tasloi, but with a few distinct differences. The normal flat head has been replaced with a much larger skull, which seems to lend a much higher predatory intellect. |
| Tasloi Hunter | This long legged and flat headed hunter is roughly humanoid in characteristic. His long arms almost reach the ground and his knuckles are worn, leading you to believe they often drag. A deep green skin covers most of the exposed hunter's body. |
| Tasloi Scout | Roughly humanoid with long legs and a flattened head this creature barely breaks three feet in height. Running at you javelin in hand, knuckles nearly dragging across the ground, it seems to be in a furious rage for no apparent reason. |
| Tasloi Shaman | This ancient tasloi wears a dented wizard's hat, which you can only assume marks him as the tribe shaman. Once very tall, his age and dark rites have wasted him away into a shall of his former self. His bone necklace rattles as he reaches into his bag. |
| Tasloi Villager | This long legged and flat headed villager is roughly humanoid in characteristic. His long arms almost reach the ground and his knuckles are worn, leading you to believe they often drag. A deep green skin covers most of the exposed hunter's body. |
| Tasloi Warrior | This long legged muscular tasloi glares at you menacingly. Dressed in battle armour, he appears ready to strike if you make any moves towards the tasloi chieftan. |
| Templar | This tall, plate-armored figure stands with a quiet watchfulness that
makes you hope you're not his enemy. The Templars are known to be deadly
adversaries with both magic and the massive greatswords they employ in
combat.
The Templar looks you up and down, and entones in a confident voice, "Welcome, pilgrim. Be you here on a quest for enlightenment, or do you wish to see the Chancellor about the work she has available? If you seek the Chapel, 'tis in the Outer Keep. If 'tis the Chancellor you seek, her office is on the second floor. Good day to you." |
| Tentacled Abomination | This disgusting beast looks like nothing you have ever seen before.
Its lumpy, scaly hide is a green so dark it is almost black. It walks on
four webbed legs, and is covered in a dozen spiky tentacles. It has a powerful
finned tail which it waves about menacingly.
The tentacled abomination gurgles wetly, venom dripping from its serrated beak. |
| Tentacled Mass | This is a large mass of fleshy tentacles, slithering its body along the cavern floor. Eyes, fanged maws and spikes jut from various of its writhing appendages. The eyes study you for a second and its jaws begin to drool.
The tentacled mass gazes at you in hatred, its tentacles waving about rapidly. |
| Terror Beast | This hideous creature flies about swiftly on leathery wings. Its three
heads are mounted on long, serpentine necks, and are filled with countless
dripping fangs. A wave of terror comes over anyone who hears its heart-wrenching
wail!
The terror beast hisses at you evilly, and swoops towards you! |
| The Grey Lord | This tall, thin being is completely shrouded in intricate robes patterened
with black, white and grey. From the depths of his hood you can see twin
pinpoints of pale green. The Grey Lord exudes an aura of incredible power,
ancient knowledge, and chilling calm.
The Grey Lord's impassive silence prompts you to believe that you have done something wrong, or that your presence is not required. However, after a moment, his eyes glow a bright green, and a voice resonates in the middle of your head: <Welcome, Bound One. Your presence here indicates you have interest in futhering the cause of Balance. If this is the case, I have missions you may be interested in.> |
| Thief | This shifty-eyed human is garbed in light leathers, and constantly
looks around as if watching for guards. Wielding a short blade, he appears
fairly capable and cold-hearted.
The thief grins you evilly, and eyes your purse! |
| Thief Spirit | The image of a halfling wavers before you. He wears soft leather clothing,
and a shortsword swings by his side. As you approach, he grins and gives
a little bow in welcoming.
The thief spirit greets you with a bow, saying "Welcome young one. Thy travels have brought thee far, to find me in this cursed tomb where I am bound. The dark one was cruel indeed to keep my spirit in this plane after we were vanquished, but even in defeat there can be hope. I have little left to offer, save my experiences fighting the unnamed one. My skill is thine to learn from, and I would gladly train thee to the next level of advancement. One more thing I can offer you: seek the old one in the heart of the darkenwood, he alone lived through the Great Wars, and he alone has mastery enough to provide thee with the necessary learning you shall surely need in the future." |
| Thrag | This huge, fifteen foot tall giant is garbed in the thick hides of
woodland animals, and wields a massive dark club in one hand. You spy a
golden sparkle from under his clothes. He sneers at you contemptuously,
hefts his club, and utters a bellowing cry!
Thrag peers at you from beneath shaggy eyebrows. His fetid breath is nearly overwhelming as he bellows, "Puny creature, out of my cave! Thrag crush you to jelly like ant! You not get my treasure, NEVER GET THRAG'S TREASURE!" He swings his huge club easily and advances! |
| Thug | This thug creeps around stealthily, looking for some unsuspecting person
to ambush and rob. He wears leather armor, and wields a nasty looking spiked
club.
The thug grins evilly at you, and eyes your purse! |
| Thuluk | Before you stands a powerfully-muscled dwarf, stocky and bare-chested.
His long braided beard is thrust through his belt, and a broad double-bladed
axe hangs at his side.
Thuluk looks you over and smiles through his broad beard, "You look like one who would be very worthy of one of my fine axes, and Thuluk's are the finest in all of Silvermere. Please do not hesitate to look around, Thuluk may even give you a special price." He grins and strokes his beard over that last statement. |
| Tiger Beetle | This insectile mutation is about four feet long, and has a striped
carapace and six jointed legs. Two large, multifacted eyes are placed alongside
its enormous mandibles. Insects of unnatural size are known for their incredible
strength and speed.
The tiger beetle waves its feelers about searchingly. |
| Timelord | The entity emits the most powerful energy you have ever felt. He exists
more as a spiritual entity rather than a physical one, and appears as a
semi-transparent figure of vaguely humanoid form -- his true features cannot
be distinguished.
The Timelord greets you warmly, saying: "Welcome, young one. It has been quite some time since I have had the pleasure of a mortal's company. Five hundred years, in fact-- ever since the end of the last Great War. The lieutenants of the Host of Darkness, those that you would name fallen angels, captured me in a desperate, last-ditch effort as the forces of light were already proclaiming their victory. In their blindness they failed to see the dark forces overwhelm my sanctuary and capture me. The power of their confinement means that even now, it is impossible for me to leave this place. My life force is intertwined with the energy sustaining the enchantment, and if it were to end, so would I. Even though I am confined, I can still be useful to you, if you need someone to train you." |
| Topaz Guardian | This is a strange beast. |
| Tortured Spirit | This spirit appears as a glowing, translucent humanlike shape, whose
form shifts and wavers like a desert mirage. It moans in agony and despair,
living even in death and prevented from eternal rest.
The tortured spirit moans pitifully at you. |
| Tough Practice Dummy | This large stuffed dummy somehow has survived all the ravages the city has thrown at it. Magically enchanted to endure unlimited beating, it is used to test combat and spellcasting skills. This particular one has been hardened and enchanted to resist attacks. |
| Trader Tull | This short, fat little man has rosy red cheeks and a long, sharp nose.
Peering about through squinting eyes like some kind of mole, he is known
as a harmless, though deceptively clever businessman.
|
| Trained Spider | This hairy and grotesque looking spider seems to be standing guard over its area. Thick, spined legs hold up a leathery skinned body of very large proportions. A gleaming bundle of eyes peers around in what looks to be some kind of methodical pattern. |
| Treant | Treants are the eternal shepherds of the trees and guardians of the
forests. While not any tougher than the huorns they command, they are as
intelligent as any human, and are far wiser, as their lifespans range in
the hundreds of years. They make fearsome opponents.
The treant rustles at you quietly. |
| Troglodyte | This tall, reptilian creature greatly resembles a humanoid lizard.
Long and thin, it walks on two legs, has sharp claws and a crest running
over the top of its head. Its skin is greyish-brown, but it can change
the color of its skin for camouflage.
The troglodyte hisses at you spitefully! |
| Troglodyte Leader | This tall, reptilian creature greatly resembles a humanoid lizard.
Long and thin, it walks on two legs, and bears a long steel-tipped spear
in its hands. Smarter and stronger than its brothers, it achieved this
position by use of force and skill.
The troglodyte leader hisses at you spitefully! |
| Troll | This hideous beast looks like something out of your worse nightmare.
It is a humanoid monstrosity, a perversion of nature verified by its foot-long
claws and serrated teeth. Red eyes peer at you from a thin, grey-skinned
face, and it flexes its ropy muscles in preparation.
The troll roars in fury! |
| Tunnel Horror | Before you is a horrifically spiked insectoid. Its carapace looks as solid as the rock of this cavern. It stands upright having two cruelly hooked claws that it waves around menacingly. Two small black eyes adorn the sides of its head and its beak snaps your way. |
| Twisted Guard | The strange nightmarish forces that have warped the asylum have also changed its guards. Now with almost bestial features, the asylum guards are nothing more than crazed killers, wielding their clubs with deadly forces. |
| Twisted One | This hideous mutation can only be the product of some form of magical
experimentation, or the result of some curse of the gods. The twisted one
is a combination of beast and man, with great strength and a hunchbacked
body.
The twisted one growls at you menacingly! |
| Two-Headed Hydra | This hideous beast is about twice the size of a large bull. Its four
scaly legs propel its heavy body forward slowly, and its two dragon-like
heads swivel around to face you. It hisses malevolently as it methodically
plods towards you.
The two-headed hydra roars in fury! |
