mutations. It moves quite slowly, and is fairly easy to hit as it does
not dodge, but it can deal serious and painful wounds with pseudopods.

| Adolescent Dragon | This large reptilian creature is about thirty feet long, and is covered in blood-red scales. It has long talons and fangs, and its wingspan is easily twice its length. A wisp of smoke trails from its mouth as it looks at you with its glittering black eyes.

| Adult She-Dragon | This massive dragon is at least fifty feet long, with a wingspan of
many times that. Her scales are a deep blood red, and glimmer like steel.
Her talons are like swords, her teeth like spears, and the intelligence
in her hateful gaze almost paralyzes you with fear.
The adult she-dragon roars at you spitefully, saying, "Foolish mortals, your arrogance will cost you your life! No one infiltrates my sanctuary and slaughters my brood without paying in blood! Your skin will blacken and burn from my flame, and I will rejoice in your screams of pain!" |
| Aged Earth Dragon | This massive, earthy-scaled wyrm is seventy feet from snout to tail. Its iridescent, reptilian eyes glarre at you with malicious intelligence. Its claws rend the stone floor like it was sand, and its great teeth show they have rendered many an armoured knight.

| Aged Titan | This gigantic, human-like being is well over thirty feet tall, with piercing blue eyes and a snow-white beard flowing down his chest. He is garbed in clothes of an ancient fashion, but of exquisite make. His restful demeanor belies unfathomable wisdom and terrible power.
The aged titan whispers in a neutral tone, "Greeting to ye, tiny one. Tis nary a task of ease to reach me in mine secluded aerie." He pauses for a moment, his piercing blue eyes squinting beneath his bushy eyebrows. "A goodly question to ask of thee now would be.. why be ye here?" |
| Aiken | This bored-looking young man is apparently some sort of magician's
apprentice, if his robes and demeanor are anything to go by. He is plain-looking,
but is decently built, and has a gleam of intelligence in his eye.
The young man yawns, "Oh, hello, I barely saw you enter. We carry a fair selection of basic magic scrolls and items, but my master keeps all the good stuff to herself." The man frowns, "As a matter of fact she was just working on a new enchantment, but NOOOO, Aiken can't be part of it. Hmph! |
| Albino Salamander | This large salamander is rather ghastly looking. Its skin is almost transparent, as it seems to be lacking any kind of pigment whatsoever. There are no eyes where you would normally find them, leaving you to wonder how this creature navigates. |
| Alchemist | This short, stooped figure wears a dull grey robe adorned with black
stitching. A pair of thick spectacles sit on the end of his nose. He carries
a long iron tube in one hand.
The alchemist screams, "Glory to the Blood God!" |
| Aldreth | The man standing before you appears to be nearly ageless -- at least,
his greying hair means he is in his middle years, but he has the build
and supple grace of a warrior of half that age. There is a penetrating
intelligence in his eyes that unsettles you.
Aldreth says "Well. It has been long since anyone has dared venture past the warding borders of the clearing." He looks you up and down appraisingly. "Well, I have little to offer thee if thy intentions are sound, and, if they are not," here he gets a wild gleam in his eye, and shifts slightly where he sits, "then I will gladly show thee the door. Though I doube it will come to that, only a fool would cross me. Do ye have need of teaching? For a small fee I would impart my knowledge to you, simply BUY TRAINING. Or if thou hast need of magical knowledge, my mind has long since turned from the paths of magic, and thou canst browse the SPELLS in my attic to thy heart's content. I can always do with a few gold coins in my purse to purchase trinkets from SILVERMERE." |
| Amazon | Before you is a tall, muscular woman of the jungle. She is a simple woman and wears a plain cloth smock, but even she is of incredible beauty, as she does her daily tasks. Even still, you can not help but admire her muscled body and tan skin. |
| Amazon Battle Master | You see a woman with hair the color of iron and bronzed skin. She is dressed in the most basic leather, allowing her great flexibility in combat. In one hand she has a short spear which she uses to make quick and deadly jabs. She wields it with obvious expertise.
She looks at you in immense disdain. "Look here youngin, I'd just as soon spit on ya as train ya." |
| Amazon Craftswoman | This beautiful, silver-haired woman glances up at you from her work. You size her up and tel by the leather apron she wears that she has fashioned many a weapon or piece of armour in her long life. She puts down her large iron mallet and looks up at you expectantly.
The elderly amazon craftswoman looks up from her work and smiles at you. "Welcome to my shop. As you can see, I have been busy at work crafting the finest of items for our warriors to wear. Perhaps you see something of interest? I have been working for months on a new type of armour." She stops to pick up a piece of red crab shell and gets and excited look in her eyes. "As you can see they are hard, but slightly flexible. The natural fibers in the shell make it nearly impossible to pierce, but still light and easy to move in. The only problem is they are so small it takes many shells to complete each piece." |
| Amazon Guard | You see before you a woman dressed in ornate leathers, with gold and silver stitched in elaborate paterns. She wields a bright, shiny, eight-foot spear, in one hand and a wooden shield in the other. She has a deadly look about her, much like an animal stalking a prey. |

| Amazon Queen | Nearly 7 feet tall, one of the tallest women you have ever seen before, she has a deadly look in her eyes as she eyeballs you. Decorative scars have been etched into her arms. Like most amazons, her right breast is cut off to allow more freedom of movement with the bow.
The giant woman stares down at you. "What is it you want outlander?!" she almost shouts at you. "If I see fit I may grant you the boon of my war-magic, or maybe I'll just slice your gullet!" she adds, her form growing more menacing. "Beg for my help now, or leave before I throw you into the slave pits!" |

| Amazon Shopkeeper | This cowering shopkeeper is obviously in fear of his life. As you approach, he fauns over you, displaying his best wares prominently. He is quite a pathetic person, and you might have felt sorry for him if he wasn't such a piece of worthless scum.
The shopkeeper whines, "Welcome, noble one! Please feel free to look around my store, and take note of my reasonable prices!" He licks his lips nervously, and you sneer in disgust. |
| Amazon Warrior | Dressed in dyed leathers and annointed with warpaint, you see the terror of the jungle, the amazon warrior. She has an animal look in her eyes, and you can tell she is sizing you up, see how quickly she can kill you, which sends chills down your spine as you look away. |
| Amber Guardian | It is hard to say whether this of solid amber is man or monster, but it looks just as fearsome. Finely cut gems are somehow kept together by some force, and the eyes of the guardian seem to gaze at you, searching for something. |

| Ancestral Guardian | Trapped somewhere between this life and the next this ghost appears to be only semi-solid. Gliding across the floor, a look of pain marks the ethereal being face showing the torment it must forever endure.

| Ancient Sand Dragon | This gigantic creature is fully seventy feet long, covered in dull
yellow scales harder than steel. Its talons are like swords; a strike of
its tail, like a thunderclap. It is an elder of its kind, immensely powerful

| Ancient Willow | This massive and ancient willow tree is rife with black rot. Despite
this malady it appears powerful and strong, and is possibly the oldest
tree you have ever seen. A haunting melody seems to emanate from it, drawing
you irresistably closer.

| Animated Tree | This tall, twisted darkwood tree looms ominously over you. Its deep
green foliage is covered in a creeping yellow rot, and its bark is peeling
and diseased. It has been animated by some unknown force, and moves about
on thick roots, slowly but with great power.

| Ankheg | This seven-foot long, six-legged insect has a hard carapace colored
mottled brown and yellow. Its large mandibles are extremely strong, able
to snap a small tree in half with a bite, and its antennae wave about in
search of fresh meat. Ankhegs are known to attack on sight.

| Archer Bush | This dense, woody bush grows close to the ground. Its thick, squat
trunk sprouts many branches studded with wicked-looking thorns.

| Aurumvorax | This strange creature greatly resembles a large badger, but has eight
legs and a beautiful golden pelt. Its small silver eyes peer out with a
surprizing ferocity, and it moves quickly to the attack!
