• Argak the Grey - Limestone Lair
• Standing before you is a stocky gnome, garbed in plain grey robes. His coal eyes look at you with great acuity and his brown, wrinkled face smiles. The mixed smell of fresh earth, and granite strongly emenates from his body. He holds a petrified staff to his side.

  The grey gnome bows before you, "Greetings brethern, I assume the Mother has lead you here, or perhaps you came of your own will." He smiles slightly and continues, "I am Agrak the Grey, speaker to the stones. I have been hoping for some time that one may come, and relieve me of my burden of knowledge, for I am about to embark on a long journey to the Plane of Earth, and did not want my secret to go unpassed." The gnome pauses and his coal eyes look at you inquisitively, "Perhaps I speak to soon, before I am to pass on what I know, I must be certain you can trully accept it, let us begin a battle, and should you defeat me, only then shall you gain from me." He waits patiently for your response.

• This muscular goblinoid looks at you with eyes filled with hate and foam covering his lips. In a state of total rage he wears nothing but a leather tunic, and wields a greatsword. Swinging wildly he comes at you, his teeth baring in fury.

• This red haired woman looks incredibly young for one with so much wisdom behind her eyes. Her freckled skin seems to illuminate everything around you, and her crimson robes emenate a burning heat. Ruby lips smile at you as she curtsies, setting aside her ash staff.
• dirty farmer
• Dressed in dirt covered overalls, this farmer looks at you with a leathery face and eyes filled with a horror unspeakable. He watches your every move, expecting you to shed your skin and become his nightmare.
• famished cow
• This poor beast of labor shows signs of not being fed for days. Who ever the owner was has either left it or forgotten about it, or more sinister things have happened. It looks up at you and lets out a weak moo to signify it knows of your presence.
• fat flaming mammoth
• A massive burning beast of hellfire stands before you. A nightmarish mix of elephant and bull, it stands up right fifteen feet, with two great horns coming from its head and long tusks that protrude from its jaw. Its large trunk ends in a wickedly curved spike.
• gnaj golem
• This eight-foot-tall creation is a wretched combination of body parts and iron. Humanoid eyes gaze at you blankly from a metallic face, and its two powerful arms that sprout from its shoulders combine with two iron ones that sprout from its sides.
• gnaj zombie
• A ghastly mix of dead flesh and tainted metal, this beast looks at at you with blank eyes. A nightmare that could only be crafted by magic means, pieces of armour and metal have been melded into rotted flesh. It moves with at a slow deliberate pace, saying nothing.
• green demonling
• Ancient lore tells you this monster is a servant to the darkest magic, summoned through evil rites. Its thick midnight blue hide crackles with dark energy. Its claws and fangs are razor-sharp, quick to slice flesh and gnaw bone. Its tail ends in a sharp stinger.
• large wraith spider
• Upon eight spectral legs this freakish monster moves towards you with supernatural speed. A cluster of eyes burn with hellish light, and two spectral fangs glisten for a taste of your soul.
• Lallim Whitemane
• Crystal blue eyes of a middle aged elf greet you from under the hood of a robe so starkly white it almost blinds you. He pulls down his hood revealing a massve mane of long white locks, and he clasps his hands to gether and bows.

  Like a razor his elven eyes cut into you, as if to take in the contents of your mind and soul. With a flat smile he greets you, "Hello traveler, forgive my distrust but I usually do not get visitors." He gives a short bow, and continues, "I can only assume you are here to gain knowledge of the powers I have earned."

• Scarecrow
• The form of a ghoulish looking piece of farm superstition stands before you. A straw effigy of a man in overalls, a rotted pumpkin makes for its face. Oddly enough it seems to hang from nothing as if it were standing on its own will.
• Sharh'Kur
• Chills run down your skin just gazing at this ancient wise man. His pale skin almost seems stretched beyond its means. His pupiless eyes gaze at you, following your every move, dispelling the notion that he is blind. His long fingers wrap around a long bluish staff.

• Dressed completely as a mage, this ancient spectre has been granted extreme power that flows out of him in the form of strange shrieking spirits.

• This poor beast of labor shows signs of not being fed for days. Who ever the owner was has either left it or forgotten about it, or more sinistar things have happened. It looks up at you and lets out a weak oink in your general direction and continues to scrounge for food.

• Alluring ruby eyes gaze at you from an ashen white face. You are almost enchanted by the beautiful features of this undead youngling except for the fanged mouth which whispers to you in soothing tones even as he is raising his hand to strike.

• Before you is a small spectre, floating about two feet off the ground It is said to touch such a spectre is death.
