If you like your Non-Pvp games with just a bit of structure, this is definitely a board for you. Galaxy has been online with this game since December 2000.
The website offers the basic rules and current fee structure right on the main page. Definitely no frills here. Access is $5/month, or $25 for 6 months, and they do accept PayPal. You can also purchase access for a full year for just $36 plus PayPal fees. The Demo period is 15 days with full access.
Before you enter the game, do take a moment to read the rules off of the Games menu. This Non-Pvp realm does not tolerate profanity, death-pile raiding, or uninvited visitors to other ganghouses. They do allow up to 4 accounts per person, and had over 45 players online on each of my visits. Questors can only be in the hands of paid accounts, and many people hand them down. Lots of ins and outs with dupes and ganghouses. Sys goto is available under certain circumstances. Be sure to read the rules or ask. The realm itself was large, warm, and very friendly. I found goodies all over, and was offered coins/questing almost immediately. The top 10 ranged from 3.5 billion down to just over 733 million in mid-February 2002.
Lag was barely noticeable from a dial-up and absolutely playable. This board seems to be very well maintained and shows a lot of care from a motivated, active staff. All modules and patches installed at this time.
This is a definite stop if you are looking for a solid, stable, well-maintained, friendly Non-Pvp realm with people at the keys and just a few rules that do enhance the gaming experience. Plenty of staff around to assist, plenty of people offering help, plenty of good times to be hand in this fun realm.
