Hi, everyone. I'm Hawt Lipz, and I have been asked to write a bit on the weekly dirt of the Realm.
Lots of changes in the Realms on Hub since Mod 7 came out. People actually seem to be talking lately! Odd thing - there seem to be many many more people in the non-pvp realm than in the newer, pvp okay one. Still, nobody has died lately.
One of the saddest things to happen in the pvp realm was the recent sex-change operation on Tabasco. This handsome, manly, dashing Ranger who was always there to help a person out has changed overnight into .... (drumroll please... A Dillweed!! It would have been better if he had simply deleted himself. Many fond memories of partying with you Tabasco.. may we meet again, soon.
Mod 7 also seems to have brought out a batch of peeps who only know how to script, and have no clues on how to set their scripts. Special Awards in this department go to Akasha and Mephisto, who have their scripts set to hang when they see area spells being cast in a NON-PVP realm!!! Hmm.. let's see here... if the pvp limit is 0, does that mean you have to try to attack back? From what Mustikki told me, it was a real hoot to watch them barge in on her scripting area, and then get hung by swarm. (Yeah.. she is a brat for using it, but... that is my buddy.)
I mean, since when are area spells considered to be pvp? Over in the pvp realm, one of the new players decided he HAD to script in the same area as Annikki, a level 40 Mage, and Pyewacket, a level 36 Ranger. So, our dashing Nekojin Warrior (a whole other joke in itself) waltzes into their path, then gripes when Anni casts spir in the room. Jeeze... Pye can tell you how often that has happened to her, and how often she has been killed by it. If she had been serious, it would have been dfir!
Moral of the story this week.. be careful where you walk. If you are going to cross paths with a spellcaster, learn to deal with it!
